We took home two of the above awards last year, so fingers crossed for a repeat…

We’ve decided to give our golden notifications a much deserved makeover. The notifications are now cleaner, more helpful, smarter and bigger!

The price differences in the drop down are now much easier to navigate, with lower priced retailers emphasised with a green circle next to them, higher priced retailers with a red circle and retailers at the same price have an orange circle. You can also handily view reviews on the product, if available, from the “more information” button next to this coupled with the “related items” suggestions.

The feedback and social media buttons are available to view at the far right of the notification, along with the InvisibleHand Facebook app “wishlist”.

We’ve already started getting feedback through the new email contact sheet (the envelope icon in the social media drop down), so with more user feedback we’re expecting our notifications to continue to grow from strength to strength!

You can see this in action for products at the moment and it won’t be long until hotels and car rentals are updated

If you would prefer to leave behind the golden notifications for something full screen, then you can now start your search with an InvisibleHand search site which lists all the available prices in a handy webpage.

Even better – it’s incredibly easy to switch between the flights, car rentals and hotels option, with the travel tabs at the top. A bargain hunters holiday booking dream!

We’re thrilled to be recognised again as a great money saving extension!

They’ve made a top ten album of all the old gadgets and gizmos upcycled into bags and purses etc… Old favourites such as VHS tapes, cassette tapes and floppy disks are in there – remember them?

But don’t worry, as the best price comparison extension around InvisibleHand has found the cheapest floppy disks here if you do actually still use them…

We don’t think the prices will be at their lowest until after ”The New iPad” has officially hit stores next week, but it didn’t stop us having a quick nose around online with our handy extension…

So far we found the bargain friendly site eBay has swept the board across the US, UK and Germany for the cheapest 16GB iPad 2 with Wi-Fi in black. But as most online shoppers will know the prices change online constantly, so keep an eye on InvisibleHand for the lowest prices – as they change! That’s what makes us unique.

Or maybe they know something that we don’t (not for long!)

Can you see yourself ditching your chunky desktop or slow laptop for a slick tablet anytime soon? Would you be comfortable having all your documents/music/personal files on such a small and delicate device?

The touch screen keyboards take a while to get used to, but with extra accessories available including a wireless keyboard – it seems as though the tablet can try it’s best to be the slick and contemporary younger model, but it’s still trying to get back to the simple functionalities a laptop offers. Using a tablet is a pleasant vacation from the slow starting, heavy laptops you’re accustomed too, but once you’ve loaded all you need onto your tablet surely this will be the same slow paced device only on a smaller and more breakable screen.

We can see tablets becoming much more popular, especially if smaller lower priced models are introduced, but it’s hard to see them overtaking PCs and laptops in households as well as in the market.
